Cognitive Behaviour Therapy
Similar to hypnotherapy, CBT is great for any issues that require changes in neural pathways, such as, phobias or negative beliefs/mindset. The therapist guides the client into a deep, relaxed state (theta) and then introduces into the imagination the source of fear, for example - spiders. If the client has an intense response, the therapist sends them back to a relaxed state and then repeats the process until there is a new neural pathway that is not attached to fear and the thought of spiders is no longer a trigger. |

Being in the comfort of your home is the ideal place for a therapy session; it is where we feel most relaxed and safe, especially for children and babies. From my own experience, after a beautifully relaxing session and absorbing a plethora of new information to process, the last thing I want to do is face the intensity of the traffic. It is a sensitive time in the healing process and I want my client to take the time to fully intergrate their experience.
